Kvass and Cabbage Tonics
Come learn how to make your very own gut healing kvass and cabbage tonics!
Kvass is a traditional probiotic, nutrient dense tonic or drink that is valued as a digestive aid and for its medicinal properties. We will learn to make beet kvass and fruit kvass that you will be able to take home and ferment. An excellent class for those new to fermentation of foods, as well as those who are starting the GAPS Diet. The class begins with a short lecture to better orient the students on the physiology of the gut, and how lacto-fermented foods play an important role in healthy digestive function and overall well being. A light gut friendly salad will be served. Class size is limited to 5 people.
